9 Favourite Things to Bake with Pumpkin by The DIY Mommy

I’m admittedly overly proud of a little, perfectly round orange pumpkin we harvested from our greenhouse this week. I really shouldn’t be, since my gardening capabilities are next to nil and I have a strong aversion to weed-pulling. But, I really do love the little guy and I’m so excited to bake something pumpkin-y and carve it into fun things with my girls for fall!

I love baking (and apparently pumpkins), so I’d like to share with you my top nine favourite pumpkin recipes that I’m dying to try out this autumn. Don’t the look absolutely delicious?

  1. Pumpkin Caramel Pretzel Bars by Sugarcrafter – There’s something wonderfully addicting about sweet + salty and this recipe has just that!
  2. Brown Butter Pumpkin Cupcakes with Brown Butter Frosting by Two Peas and Their Pod – Um, need I say more?
  3. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies by My Blessed Life – This is a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe with some pumpkin and spices thrown in.
  4. Starbucks Pumpkin Pound Cake by Something Swanky – A relatively low-fat coffee cake that looks delish!
  5. Cinnamon Roll Pumpkin Vanilla Sheetcake by Picky Palate – If there’s anything I like more than pumpkin, it’s vanilla. What do I love more than vanilla? Cinnamon rolls. This looks amazing.
  6. Pumpkin Coffee Cake with Brown Sugar Glaze by Pretty. Good. Food. – A brown sugary coffee cake with a crumb top – yum!
  7. Petite Pumpkin Spice Donuts by Blue-Eyed Bakers – Aren’t these cute and tasty looking? And they’re baked, not fried.
  8. Ooey Gooey Caramel Pumpkin Blondies {with Chocolate and Walnuts} by Lauren’s Latest – Pumpkin, chocolate, chips and nuts in a buttery bar with whipped cream on top… sorry, dieters!
  9. Cinnamon Mini Cheesecakes with Pumpkin Pie Frosting by Gimme Some Oven – I’m most excited to try these lovelies. I love the idea of a pumpkin flavoured icing!

Which pumpkin recipe is making your mouth water?
