First, cut your wired ribbon into a 14″ piece and a 10″ piece for each angel ornament.

Next, fold each piece accordion style into pleats (I folded in approximately 1″ increments). Staple the shorter pieces in the middle and fluff out each side to make wings. Staple the longer pieces at the top and fluff them out to make the angel’s body.

Then, glue the wings to the skirt as shown with a glue gun.

Finally, embellish your angel ornaments by gluing a bell on top of their wings with a glue gun. Then, thread some string through it to use as a hanging cord. You will need about 6 inches of twine or string for each angel. Tie it into a loop so it creates a hanging loop at the top of the head. Then, glue a gem or bead at the center of the wings with a small dab of hot glue to hide the seams for a more polished look.

Optional Embellishments

Optional: After attaching the bell heads, you could twist a pipe cleaner into halo shapes and glue them onto the back of the head. You could even tie some thin ribbon around the angel’s neck for a festive neck bow.

Ta-da! Your angel ornaments or finished and ready to hang on the tree or give to grandma and grandpa as a gift. These would also make pretty gift toppers or a Holiday table favor, too! Happy crafting!
