The sweet little cloth shoes you’ll find in a shop called Little Jumping Beans will make you smile (and want one in every fabric), but once you get to know the amazing woman behind this company, you’ll want to smile even more. Jaimie of Little Jumping Beans is a creative and talented individual with a passion for her art. This DIY Mommy was kind enough to share with me some interesting information about herself, her shop, and how she has become successful.

Where do you live? Calgary, Alberta, Canada How many children do you have and what are their ages? We have 1 toddler right now, Logan our son is just about 20 months and we are due with our second in July 2010.
What kinds of things do you create? Mostly baby things – soft soled baby shoes, baby bibs, blankets and also crib sheets – i’m just making my first quiet book right now and it’s very fun!
What inspires you? My son and creating cute things for him, also all the wonderful fabrics available – I love cute japanese fabric and and the amazing unique designer fabrics.
What makes your creations unique? I think a lot of the different fabrics I use that make the shoes much different from the mass produced ones.
If you had one piece of advice for other DIY mommies trying to market their creations online, what would it be? Advertise well and really just wait and be patient for people to find you.
