Make DIY Christmas Photo Backdrops with Scrapbook Paper

December 5, 2013 By Christina Dennis 4 Comments

Remember the lovely, sparkly pack of scrapbook paper I bought a few weeks ago and made these with? I found another use for it: a DIY Christmas photo backdrop for my girls’ Holiday pictures!

All I did was tape 12″ x 12″ sheets of scrapbook cardstock paper to my wall with masking tape above a side table. I taped up a few starry twinkle lights, had my girlies sit on the table, and voila!

Here’s the setup over our messy toy shelf/table:

The girls were a little miffed that I stole them away from watching Dora, and Little C had a cold, so I’m trying to decide if I should re-do them or not…

Then again, I’m not sure they’d go for a “take two”. Slightly blurry and sleepy-looking Christmas photos might do the trick this year!

(Or the “test” one with no lights, a random stocking and comfy clothes:)
