Happy Monday to YOU! Here in Canada, this is an extra long weekend for most people because Canada Day is tomorrow. I think our family will go to the beach and roast some hot dogs. Do you have any Canada Day or Independence Day plans? (If you’re celebrating Canada Day with me, you might want to make my Sugar Cookies with Maple Syrup Glaze!)
This past weekend was a wonderful one for me – I got to see my baby sister get married! She was a gorgeous bride, it was an absolutely beautiful day, and we all had so much fun. What I loved about her wedding was that most of it was DIY & handmade (I hope to share some more details soon). Her dress was made by my mom, we all made the fabric floral bouquets together, and she made her veil. I also had the privilege of making all of the signs and graphics, helping with the centerpieces, and making the favours. Here’s a peek at how beautiful she is, and how much fun my daughters had as flower girls:
Now, *drumroll*, it’s Motivational Monday craft, DIY & home decor link party time with Joy in Our Home and Burlap and Babies! Thanks so much to those of you that linked up your projects last week. We were amazed again with all of the fabulous projects that were shared with us. Are you ready to party? I can’t wait to see what you’re going to share this week!
Ready to share what motivates you? Link up a picture or post of something that motivates you (or others) to create or just be awesome! Our goal is for this link up to focus on craft, DIY & home posts so please try to remember that when linking up. Each week, each hostess will feature their favorite from the previous week. Please do not link online stores, giveaways, or other link parties. Link party goes up Monday and ends at 5:00pm PST on Friday. Feel free to grab a Motivational Monday button at the bottom of this post to put on your own blog if you want to help spread the love! I LOVE a good Ikea hack, and this Ikea Tarva Dresser Hack by MyBellaBug from last week’s party was no exception. I adore the greek key detailing on it, and how she finished the top. Perfect! I’m inspired and motivated to DIY a greek key design somewhere in my house ASAP!
