Spooky Glam Halloween Wreath

We don’t decorate a lot for Halloween because the girls and I don’t like ultra-scary things, however when we like to make a few things that are just a little spooky… but not too spooky!

This project is party of the Fall Seasonal Simplicity series hosted by Krista of The Happy Housie. I’m so excited to be joining some of my favourite bloggers in sharing our Halloween crafts with you today. Spooky Glam Halloween Wreath

This wreath made from dollar store items is just that. It’s spooky and Halloween-esque, but it’s not gory or icky. It’s also just a little bit glamourous with it’s black and gold colour scheme. The best part? It only costs a few dollars to make with items all found at the Dollar Tree!

Watch my video below to learn how to make this spooky glam Halloween wreath with ribbon and Halloween decor from the Dollar Tree:

With this wreath as my inspiration, I decorated the front door of my work studio in a spooky glam style with more items from the Dollar Tree. It was so fun & inexpensive and my girls love the look!

I love how this is still spooky and a little creepy for Halloween with all of the black, cobwebs and spiders, but it’s not too scary for my little ones.

We draped some dollar store faux cobwebs and garlands through the overgrown lilacs on either side of my studio front door.

Then, we wrapped some Halloween LED lights and dollar store flowers around these DIY wooden lanterns I made last month and placed them by the door.

Now my studio looks ready for Halloween, and I only spent around $20!
