I'm sharing my top 6 things that I always buy for our family at Costco, plus my experience at the grand opening of Costco's 100th store in Canada!

This week, I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Costco's 100th store in Canada, and it's right here in the Edmonton area! Costco Nisku opened on Wednesday, and I was one of the first in line to grab some much needed essentials for our family including our favourite P&G products like Charmin toilet paper and Tide laundry detergent.
Even though there was a huge lineup of people eagerly waiting to get in on Wednesday morning, I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely my shopping experience was on the opening day. There were so many staff to help everyone, the store was meticulously organized, and I found everything I needed in record time!
If you live in the Edmonton area, I'd definitely recommend checking out Costco Nisku this week; I think you'll love it too.
Do you have items that you always buy at Costco for your family? I sure do, and here are some things I grabbed at the new Costco store this week:
1: Toilet Paper & Paper Towel
We love the bulk-sized packages of toilet paper and paper towel we can find at Costco - it's so nice not to have to constantly restock! At the Costco Grand Opening on Wednesday, I grabbed some of our favourites: Bounty paper towel and oh-so-soft Charmin toilet paper.
2: Laundry Detergent
Another item that's great to buy here if you have a larger family is laundry detergent. I buy the large bottles and store them in my laundry room cabinet. They last for months! Our favourite is the Tide Free & Gentle detergent for our family's collective sensitive skin. (Pictured: Tide Original)
3: Shampoo
Shampoo is also very handy to have in a large format, and my favourite from Costco is this double pack of Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner. It smells incredible and leaves my hair super soft! I just ran out of the conditioner, so I bought myself another pack. These big bottles last me for a really long time.
4: Dog Food
It's rare that I leave Costco without one of their giant bags of dog food on the bottom of my cart! Our dogs go through a ton of food, and the price of the food we buy is the best at Costco (plus, we love the big bags of course)!
5: Seasonal Decor
While many people are groaning to see seasonal decor out extra-early at Costco, I'm secretly cheering because I always need to plan ahead! I have to be on the ball for seasonal decor ideas for holidays like Halloween and Christmas, and I love that Costco always has their seasonal decor out early so that I can buy things for the blog (and of course - for my own fun)!
6: Cut Flowers
Flowers (especially roses) are always a fantastic price at Costco, so I always ask my hubby to buy them for me from here. They come in huge bunches and last a long time. Let's face it - I buy myself bunches of flowers here all the time, too!
These 6 items always seem to make their way into my cart at Costco - they're such great buys! Make sure to check out Canada's 100th Costco location if you live in the Edmonton area and stock up on your favourite P&G products and other must-haves for your family! Want even more deals? Weekly savings at Costco are available here starting on Mondays.
Now tell me: What are your Costco must-haves?

Haha, our Costco must-haves would be a page long! Seriously, with the 6 of us we buy all our cereal at Costco, TP and paper towels, Nutella and Kirkland coffee. I didn't realize there were 100 stores across Canada!
