We're celebrating 5 years of The DIY Mommy this month! Have you entered my celebratory giveaway yet worth over $500? Over the next couple of weeks, I'm going to share with you some of the most popular tutorials on TheDIYMommy.com over the last five years. Let's start where it all began - with DIY projects for Baby. Here are the most visited baby tutorials from 2009 to today:
- Sew A Baby Necktie
- Update a Nursery Glider Rocking Chair
- Sew Soft Baby Slippers
- Sew a Wet Bag
- Make a Simple Baby Tutu
- Sew Boutique Soother Clips
- Sew an Easy Beginner's Baby Quilt
- Sew a Boutique Blanket for Baby
- Make Baby Leg Warmers from Socks
I love all of these, and I also love that some of the ones I wrote waaaaay back in 2009 went over so well (the photos of Little C as a wee baby make me shed happy tears).
Which is your favourite baby tutorial?
I love them all but if I had to pick a favorite I'm going with the beautiful blanket...my pick is the one I believe will be in a family for generations and will provide baby lasting comfort for years.
My children all had a blanket they never wanted to part with and this one really would of made parting very hard!!
Thanks so much, Faith! I agree - blankets are definitely one of the most special things you can make for children. My girls LOVE their blankies!
