AMA TRAVEL x The DIY MOMMY CRUISE GIVEAWAY CONTEST RULES
The AMA Travel DIY Mommy Cruise Giveaway (the “Contest”) is being organized and held by AMA
Agencies Ltd. o/a AMA Travel (“AMA Travel”).
Contestants who enter this Contest have a chance to win one prize, being a Caribbean or Mexican Riviera cruise with Carnival Cruises.
CONTEST DATES
Contest begins on September 13, 2019 and closes at 11:59 p.m. MST on September 19, 2019 (the “Contest Period”).
WHO CAN ENTER
Contest is open to all persons who reside in Alberta and are twenty-one (21) years of age or older (each a “Contestant”).
Employees of the Alberta Motor Association (“AMA”) it’s wholly owned subsidiaries, and the immediate family members or people that reside in the same household of such persons cannot be Contestants.
HOW TO ENTER
Contestants automatically receive one (1) entry into the Contest (an “Entry”) for:
Liking the associated Social Media post for the Contest;
Tagging a friend or family member in the comments of the associated Social Media post; and Following @ama_travel, @thediymommy and @carnival on Instagram.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Contest. Each Contestant may enter a maximum of one (1) Entry into the Contest.
PRIZE
There will one (1) prize to be awarded in this Contest (the “Prize”), being a Caribbean or Mexican Riviera cruise in a balcony cabin for two (2) persons, for up to 7 days with Carnival Cruises. Cruise fare & Port fare and flights from WestJet to and from Edmonton or Calgary will be covered for the Prize winner and his or her guest.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON THE PRIZE
The Prize includes the following:

Roundtrip flights for two (2) from Edmonton or Calgary. Airports in will be based on the closest major airport to the selected cruise itinerary;

Up to 7-day Caribbean or Mexican Riviera cruise itinerary in a balcony cabin with Carnival Cruises;
-
Transfers at destination;
-
Airline & cruise taxes & fees; and
-
The consulting fee cost for an AMA Travel Advisor.
The following is not included with the Prize:
-
Travel medical and/or cancellation insurance;
-
Seat selection and baggage fees;
-
Any additional fuel surcharges and fees applicable after booking;
-
Pre or Post night hotels;
-
Additional tours or excursions;
-
Gratuities;
-
Items of a personal nature, as examples transportation other than airfare, meals and drinks, dry cleaning, additional tour services, etc.; and
-
Travel documentation. Valid Canadian Passport is required for Canadian Citizens. Visa fees may be required to enter other counties.
Conditions and Limitations of the Prize, being the trip:

The trip must be booked and travelled by November 30, 2019;

The trip, as outlined above, comes as-is. If Prize winner wishes, he or she can pay for any additional travel excursions, type of cabins etc.

The trip must be booked with AMA Travel with an AMA Travel Advisor;
-
Airfare will be economy class service;
-
The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is nontransferable, and no substitutions are permitted.

There is no cash value to this prize and any unused portions are not returnable for cash or future services.

It is strongly recommended that the Prize winner and his or her guest purchase trip insurance;
-
The value of the trip or the trip itself may not be sold or bartered; and
-
Travel is subject to restrictions, which include, but are not limited to; cruise and airline availability, travel during peak travel times (e.g. long weekends, statutory holidays, Christmas). Some further restrictions on travel dates apply.
SELECTING A WINNER
There will be one (1) random draw held on or about September 20, 2019 to select the winning Entry. The draw will be held at AMA’s head office in Edmonton Alberta. Only Entries received during the Contest Period will be entered into this Contest. The odds of winning the Prize depends on the number of eligible Entries properly received into the Contest.
CLAIMING THE PRIZE
AMA will contact the selected Prize winner through Instagram, email or other online means which are reasonably available. If, for any reason, it is not possible within a one (1) week period to contact the Prize winner despite customary diligent efforts, AMA reserves the right to disqualify that Entry and randomly select another Entry, and the Contestant who submitted that Entry will become the winner for the Prize.
Each Prize winner must answer a skill testing question and sign a contest prize acknowledgement and release form before being issued their Prize. The Prize must be accepted as described; substitutes by a Prize winner will not be allowed and the Prize may not be transferred to other persons unless with the written consent of AMA Travel, which may be unreasonably withheld. AMA Travel retains the right to replace any Prize with a different prize of equal or greater value if the original Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond AMA Travel’s control.
By entering this Contest, each Prize winner consents to AMA and AMA Travel publishing their name and image in all forms and media, and in all manners including advertising, trade, display, editorial, art, advertisements, video production, exhibitions, Twitter, Facebook and other website content. In giving this consent, the Contestant releases the AMA, AMA Travel, its employees and directors from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right or entitlement a Prize winner may have in connection with such reproduction, publication, use and distribution of their name and picture.
AMA Travel reserves the right to withhold the Prize or disqualify a Prize winner’s Entry in the event that
a Prize winner fails or refuses to comply with these Contest rules.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering this Contest, all Contestants, regardless of whether or not they win a Prize in the Contest, consent to AMA Travel using and publishing Contestants’ first initial, last name, city of residence, Instagram handle and any other non-personal information, in all forms and media, and in all manners including advertising, trade, display, editorial, art, advertisements, video production, exhibitions, Twitter, Facebook and other website content. In giving this consent, the Contestant releases AMA, AMA Travel along with each of their respective employees and directors from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right or entitlement the Contestant may have in connection with such reproduction, publication, use and distribution of such information.
If, for any reason and in the opinion of AMA Travel, in its sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond its control, AMA Travel reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest including any method of entry.
AMA Travel will not be responsible for telephone, cellular phone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed internet/email computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the
Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, as well as any damage to Contestant’s or any other person’s computer or devices relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest.
AMA Travel will not be responsible for, or accept any liability resulting from Entries that are delayed, lost, stolen or misdirected for any reason during their delivery to AMA Travel whether by, but not limited to faulty or defective computers, tablets, hand held devices, smart phones, internet access, cellular phone network or other communication medium.
By entering the Contest, all Contestants agree to be bound by the rules of the Contest and release AMA, AMA Travel and all parties associated with the Contest from any liability with respect to this Contest or the Prize.
All decisions by AMA Travel with respect to all aspects of this contest are final.
In these Contest rules, words importing singular include the plural and vice versa.
These Contest rules shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta.
PRIVACY
Information is collected in accordance with the AMA Privacy Policy. Any personal information obtained in the course of running this Contest will be used for administration and for marketing purposes for this Contest.
