My husband Sean and I had the pleasure of renovating my friend Danielle’s entire basement. She’s a local teacher with three young boys, and her and her family certainly deserved this makeover! You can see the main basement transformation here and the basement bathroom makeover right here.

Today I want to share the transformation of the final room in Danielle’s basement: the basement bedroom!

I love how cozy this bedroom feels now. The deep blue wall matches the deep blue accents in the rest of the basement, and the floor-length drapes and textiles make it feel warm. The desk area will be a handy spot for Danielle’s son to do homework or play, and the storage and shelves on the opposite wall add even more function. I love how the bed has hidden storage underneath, too!

We’re still waiting on some pieces for the closet interior makeover, so stay tuned for a blog post on that!
