Learn how to make a DIY nautical wreath for summer using items from the dollar store. This grapevine wreath features shells, glass beads and a succulent and it's the perfect decor accessory for those beach-weather days!
This project is part of the Seasonal Simplicity blog hop hosted by The Happy Housie, so after you read my post make sure to see all of the other beautiful summer wreath projects linked at the bottom!
If you follow my YouTube channel, you may have already seen this summery wreath in my latest Summer Dollar Tree DIYs video, BUT I loved it so much that I though it deserved it's own blog post! It's such a cute combo of inexpensive items (it only cost me $6.25 to make or $5 if you're in the US) and it takes only a few minutes to put together.
To make this nautical wreath, start with a grapevine wreath from Dollar Tree. Using a glue gun, attach the following Dollar Tree supplies to the wreath on one of the bottom sides (I love an asymmetrical wreath): seashells, faux succulent pick, string of glass beads in the turquoise colourway (I just left them on the original wire with the cute tassel at the end!) and a bow made of raffia ribbon. Cute and easy, right?!
Today I'm joined by a fabulous group of blogging friends who are also sharing their Summer DIY Wreath Ideas as part of the Seasonal Simplicity Summer Series. Click on the links below their wreath design to see exactly how they made it...
