I’m overdue to share some more petite curvy mom style fashion ideas with you! Now that Fall is here (and it feels like winter now where we live because it’s snowing), I’ve come up with some beautiful basics to use in my Fall & Winter capsule wardrobe.

Do you remember my Spring 2017 capsule wardrobe? Essentially, a capsule wardrobe is a pared down version of your clothing wardrobe. Donate or store anything that you don’t like, don’t wear, or that isn’t fitting for the season you’re in. Curate your wardrobe very carefully so that it’s easy to mix and match the pieces and so that you love absolutely everything! If you want to read more about the capsule wardrobe concept, I think Caroline of Unfancy explains it best here.

My Fall & Winter capsule is larger than my Spring version, but these are the sorts of clothes I wear for most of the year in our cold climate. I’m also using a lot of items that I already have on hand this season (I’ve linked to similar items for you) so that I can try out the #Moms30for30 challenge this month. What’s that, you ask? This challenge is hosted by Raj of Pink Chai Living, and the basic guidelines are:

  •  Choose 30 pieces of clothing from your wardrobe, create 30 outfits in 30 days.
  •  Shoes, accessories, and outerwear don’t count towards your 30 pieces
  •  Have fun! Try new looks.
  •  If you feel like it, share your pics on Instagram with the tag #moms30for30 or #30for30remix

I thought this was a great way to go through my wardrobe and try new things with items I already have!

Speaking of which, here are a few looks I’ve pulled together from my Fall & Winter wardrobe so far:
