DIY French Country Floral Wreath for Summer

I'm so excited that the Seasonal Simplicity series is back again; and this time it's to celebrate Summer! Today I've joined up with a talented group of bloggers by sharing a beautiful summer wreath with you all! I'm making a French Country inspired floral wreath, and then make sure to check out all the other DIY summer wreath inspiration at the bottom of this post.

DIY French Country Floral Wreath for Summer

This wreath is very simple to make. It didn't cost me anything because I essentially made a pile of all of my favourite faux flowers & greens I had on hand and  used them to make this pretty summer wreath! I love how it looks on our front door, and...

... how it looks on my studio door among the lilacs. So pretty!

Want to make a French country inspired floral wreath like this? Watch my tutorial video below:

Basically, all you'll need is a plain faux boxwood wreath and a handful of your favourite faux florals and greens. Starting from the largest florals, stick them by their stems directly into your wreath and work your way around the wreath until you're satisfied with the result. The nice thing about this method is that you can easily remove all of your flowers and re-work the wreath for next season! It's fun & affordable.

Now take a look at what my blogging friends have made for summer today:
