Published: Feb 12, 2018 · Modified: Sep 26, 2019 by Christina Dennis · This post may contain affiliate links · This blog generates income via ads · 3 Comments

Just like I love to create beautiful decor, I love to experiment with creating beautiful food ideas! This cute DIY fruit tray featuring Mini Babybel is adorable and fun, but it's not too difficult to make as a special snack for the kids or even for yourself. Mini cookie cutters and a rainbow variety of fruit make this snack both eye appealing and healthy. Let me show you how easy it is to make this fruit tray snack, and then make sure to head down to the bottom of this post to enter to win a year's supply of Mini Babybel!

My girls love to munch on healthy fruit & cheese trays like this as an after-school snack, or even as a fun lunch on the weekend. The legendary taste of Mini Babybel (find them on Facebook right here) and the rainbow of fruit make this snack both fun to eat and healthy.

Mini cookie cutters make this snack feel extra special, even though it doesn't take a lot of time to prepare. Cut as many or as few shapes as you like to make the prep as involved as you wish! I found a pack of adorable mini cookie cutters at the craft store, and simply cut shapes out of the fruit I found on sale at the grocery store - in this case, watermelon, canteloupe and kiwi. The addition of berries, grapes, and ham helps round out this little snack platter, and Mini Babybels add some good, natural fun! I cut shapes into the wax portion of the Mini Babybels with the mini cookie cutters, and it was so simple and my girls loved the surprise.

My daughters - especially three-year-old Little B - love the process of opening Babybels and enjoy creating their own shapes with the wax.

This is a really cute way to serve fruit. And not just for kids! May give it a try at our next gathering.

Thanks, Michelle. Great for Valentines or you can adapt for other occasions by changing out the heart cutter 😀
