Use hardware cloth, wire cutters and needle nose pliers to create beautiful vintage industrial style DIY wire mesh baskets of any size. I LOVE these, and they're such a versatile storage option for any space!
Have a weird cubby you need to find an oddly sized basket for? Make one of these! Want to make a teeny tiny basket for your desk? Here's your DIY! Have fun & don't forget to watch those sharp wire edges when making these, please.
I made one of these and spray painted it oil rubbed bronze for a project I'm working on.
I'll share more of this whole project soon!
I also made a couple to store craft supplies in my office.

What a great idea!! How much weight will they hold? I am looking for wire baskets to use in my freezer to keep it organized, so they need to be on the larger size and be able to hold heavier weights.

I think this is such a creative way to use wire mesh! Spray painting it would make it look super cute too. I am thinking of different ways I can use wire mesh because my husband has a lot that he is not going to need. This is a great project I could start working on!

Thank you Erika! I am so happy you found use for that extra wire mesh you have 🙂

This is GREAT. Love it. I tried to make 2 myself and they look lovely, but they're crooked and I cannot get them to sit straight. I even put bricks in them for a few days hoping it would flatten them out. Any suggestions?
