    Our DIY Patio Video Tour

Published: Aug 9, 2017 by Christina Dennis · This post may contain affiliate links · This blog generates income via ads · 10 Comments

Summer's not over yet, friends, and I hope you're able to enjoy all of the rest of these warm summer nights we have before Fall hits! We've definitely felt fortunate to finally have finished our back patio this year, and we've been loving entertaining there and also just relaxing together after a busy day. I revealed our modern French country back patio a few weeks ago, but today I wanted to give you a video tour of the space styled a little differently, plus explain in a little more detail how we made the DIY reclaimed tile and pea gravel base.

This look is a little different than our earlier summer patio look. The latter was a little more feminine and colourful.

By switching out some pillows and adding a little more ambient lighting with string lights and candles, this look is little more sophisticated and dramatic.

It's perfect for those late summer nights that we want to enjoy outside!

We're still so infatuated with our Creston patio set from The Brick -(it's holding up so well through the torrential downpours we've experienced lately) , and this giant umbrella from The Brick is my favourite way to make this space usable as an outdoor office with my laptop and phone in hand.
