I had a whirlwind couple of days this past weekend attending BlogPodium in Toronto (which was AWESOME!), and now that I’m back home I’m ready to snuggle down and cozy our home up for Fall. I’ve decorated our Autumn mantel very simply this year, but I really think it’s pretty so I thought I’d share it with you. There’s also some artwork I made for it that you can download for yourself!

My good old quatrefoil mirror from Lowe’s is still front and center, and I’m still using my Ikea candlesticks. They’re displaying pumpkins right now. In summer, they held succulents, and at Christmas they held paper Christmas trees.

I found this lovely free printable on Aedriel’s website. The pumpkins were found at Michael’s last year, and I found the pretty black lanterns at Winner’s.

The faux plant and plant pot are also from Ikea, and I made this “Give Thanks” antler print myself. Do you want one? Click on the photo to download a PDF version of the print with a chalkboard background:

I made the simple burlap banner last year. Here’s the easy DIY.

Faux Antlers over a Geometric Print

Speaking of antlers, I’ve been casually looking for a set of stylized antlers for between my living room windows and found the perfect ones at Winners this week. Aren’t they neat?!

I really like how the mantel was decorated frugally, but it still says “Autumn’s here” in a beautiful way. Bring on the warm coffees and cozy knit sweaters. Our DIY House is ready for Fall!

In case you missed it, my simple mantel also coordinates nicely with my DIY brown paper fall wreath I made a little while ago. Click on the image below for the full tutorial:
