There’s no kind of shopping I enjoy more than sale shopping, so today I wanted to share with you some of my absolute favourite Boxing Day sales for 2015! These are all places I’ve personally shopped from this year, and I’d recommend all of them. These are all picks that are perfect for folks like me – the budget-savvy mama that loves a good dose of style. I’ve got my recommendations for everything from furniture to cosmetics to clothing to crafts… I hope you enjoy my favourite 2015 Boxing Day Deals!Continue reading
Ever since I had Little C almost 6 years ago, I caught the Handmade Baby Stuff Bug. There is something beautiful and special about making things with love for your littles. Handmade baby products are more unique than mass produced ones, and they’re often higher quality so that they can be passed down as sentimental heirlooms.
If you’re not a crafty maven or don’t have the time to make things for your new little one, there are so many talented mammas and artisans that can make special things for you. And do you know what else is wonderful? If you buy handmade and locally made things, you’re supporting moms and families like yourself! I love that thought.Continue reading
Raise your hand if you’re like me: you’re an introvert, you love to do crafts and you love unique fashion. Anyone? Good! I’m glad there are more people like me out there!
Because I’m a bit of a homebody and tend to avoid large crowds, I like to shop online during crazy times of year (like Black Friday – and like Boxing day for my fellow Canadians). I enjoy finding great deals on my favourite things!
The following Black Friday sales are from online shops that I’ve purchased from before (several times from some!) and have been so very happy with their products. You’ll find some great sales and coupon codes for crafty supplies for your handmade Christmas products, as well as unique fashions to treat yourself.
Enjoy shopping in your jammies this weekend! Have you found any other notable deals on craft supplies or fashion this weekend? Please comment below!

We had the most beautiful Fall photos taken of our family this year by my talented friend Tangible Moments. Here are some of my favourites (though I loved them all):
I’m determined this year to send off our Christmas cards in as timely of a fashion as possible (usually I’m much too late and my Christmas cards end up being New Year’s cards, or they’re even not sent out at all)!
Tiny Prints has the most beautiful and on-trend Christmas photo card layouts I’ve seen on the web, and I’ll be using our precious family photos to order some photo holiday cards from their site this year. There are so many sweet ones to choose from, but here are some of my absolute favourites:
The colours in this card just pop and I love the multi-photo layout so that we could pack as many photos into our cards as possible.
I’m a sucker for kraft paper, and this card features a kraft paper-ish background with sweet and simple text.
This concept is brilliant – you can add little text snippets of the highlight’s of your family’s year beside your photo!
Here’s another one with a similar layout idea. I love the thought of sharing little bits and pieces of your year with your family and friends.
Finally, the colours (hooray – it’s turquoise!) and the patterns in this last card caught my eye. It’s simple, but the family photo is center stage and the message is beautiful.
I’m am SO excited to fiddle around with different card layouts and get my cards out on time this year!
Are you also considering ordering your Holiday cards from Tiny Prints? Through the end of 2012, customers can get Free US Standard Delivery or $9.95 off Canada Economy shipping with your order using the code FS2012 at checkout. Enjoy shopping!
