Make a Fall Fairy Garden Wreath

Why is everything so much more exciting in miniature form?! I could lie and say that I like to make doll house things and fairy gardens because my girls love it, but the truth is that I love minis just as much (if not more!) than they do. This Fall fairy garden wreath is an ode to all things mini, and it’s a craft that both you and your kids will enjoy creating! Want more DIY Fall wreath inspiration? Shabby Chic Dropcloth Rag Christmas Wreath

This year, I have the privilege of decorating one of the homes in Edmonton’s Homes for the Holidays event. Five homes will be decorated by local designers and florists, and I’m one of them! The home I get to design is my dream home: a turn-of-the-century brick foursquare. I can’t wait to get my hands on it in a couple of weeks, but meanwhile I’ve been crafting away on some DIY Christmas creations for the space. I’m turning the home into a romantic and magical shabby chic wonderland, so this fluffy dropcloth rag wreath will fit right in! Read on to see how to make a rag wreath out of a dropcloth like this, and make sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post for 20 more DIY Christmas wreath ideas.Continue reading

Salvaged Farm Junk Fall Wreath

For this year’s Fall wreath, I wanted to make something out of things I already had on hand or things I could salvage from outside. When we visited my aunt and uncle’s farm last weekend, I found just the thing to jump start my project! An old, rusty jump rim was laying beside their field and it looked like the perfect base for a farmhouse wreath. Let me show you how I made this simple, salvaged farm junk wreath and make sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post to see more amazing Fall wreath ideas from some of my blogging friends!Continue reading
