Published: Nov 9, 2015 · Modified: Oct 14, 2021 by Christina Dennis · This post may contain affiliate links · This blog generates income via ads · 14 Comments

'Tis the season for whipping out the old sewing machine and plugging away at handmade Christmas gifts! One of my favourite gifts to give is STILL a DIY infinity scarf. They're so quick to make (about 15 minutes), and it's a lot of fun to find unique fabrics that will make your recipient happy. I made a new video tutorial for my infinity scarf technique, and I hope you enjoy it! Also - scroll down to the bottom of this post to find 9 more amazing DIY gift ideas from my Canadian blogging friends!

These are so soft and cozy! This one was made from some fabric I had in my stash. It has a bit of stretch to it, which I love for an infinity scarf.

Do you think you could get away with 1.5 yards of fabric instead of 2? Love this scarf!

Thank you Sara! 2 yards of fabric seems to work great for the fullness of the scarf and putting it on. I feel like 1.5 yards might make it tight when putting the scarf on and you won't achieve that full scarf look. 🙂 Let us know if you try it with the 1.5 yards.
