When I found these glass cloches with gold bases at IKEA, I knew they would make beautiful Christmas decorations. This adorable little Christmas cloche could be used as decor on a mantel, on a side table, or even as a table centerpiece this holiday season.
To begin, grab one of these BEGÅVNING glass domes with base from IKEA. I used the larger sized one (10″).
Next, find some ornaments and small decorations to place inside. For mine, I’m using a vintage looking reindeer ornament, some bottle brush trees and some dried florals.
Then, using a hot glue gun, affix the ornaments to the base of the cloche. Use a generous amount of hot glue to keep everything stable and make sure the top can still fit over the ornaments.
If you desire, add some sparkle to the cloche by gluing the battery pack of a short string of fairy lights to the bottom of the dome base. Then, wrap the lights around your ornaments & florals.
Finally, make the decorative cloche look even more festive by adding faux snow to the design.
