Homework Station

Get some ideas on how to make your own easy homework station that’s both budget-friendly and organized.

I started with this adorable North Avenue Desk from The Brick.

Not only is it the perfect compact size for a little spot like this, it's such a great price! I love its neutral wood colour paired with the black metal legs.

The shelves beneath the work top are a great location for a basket with things like headphones, pencil cases and chargers along with a laptop case.

For extra storage on top of the desk, I created a simple DIY magazine holder out of a cereal box, Mod Podge & wrapping paper.

Another quick & easy DIY for this homework station is this painted bulletin board that serves as a movable gallery wall over the desk. It could also display calendars and paperwork too, but for now I love the art, faux florals and DIY macrame piece I’ve pinned here!

I’ve also placed an inexpensive letterboard on the desk with a fun quote, an old mason jar to store scissors and pens, and a couple of other fun accessories.
