All I did was buy a gingerbread village kit at my grocery store! I put all the little houses together and decorated them with the white royal icing that was included. I decided to keep it simple with only the white accents.
Next, I found a dish with a rim and placed the houses inside. Bottle brush trees and candlesticks were placed around the houses, and I topped it all off with a sprinkling of sugar to look like freshly fallen snow.
You can also add fresh or faux greenery branches beneath the tray to give this easy centerpiece more interest.
