We recently got a colourful new rug in our dining room, so this year it was so much fun to create a vibrant Fall tablescape to match it!
Not only did I challenge myself to coordinate our Fall tablescape with the new rug, but I also wanted to create an inexpensive idea that didn't look cheap.
I started with some vintage amber glassware that I snagged from my local antique and thrift stores for a great price. I'm loving amber glass this season, and it's fun to mix-and-match it - there's no need to find an exactly matching set!
A faux floral centerpiece filled with stems I had on hand and some from Dollar Tree set the mood for the table.
For each setting, I layered some simple white plates on Ikea rattan placemats. I found some lovely mustard yellow & teal napkins from Simons for only $1.99 each, and placed a glass Dollar Tree pumpkin in green or teal on top of those. Some simple gold flatware from Amazon finished the look.
So easy and inexpensive, right? And I think it still looks beautiful and totally Fall-worthy!
