DIY Halloween Ideas to make with your Cricut

Published: Oct 7, 2019 · Modified: Aug 28, 2021 by Christina Dennis · This post may contain affiliate links · This blog generates income via ads · 2 Comments

Use your Cricut and some inexpensive dollar store supplies to make these slightly spooky and oh-so-glam DIY decorations for Halloween!

DIY Cricut and Dollar Store Halloween Decor Ideas

I love a little bit of spook and a whole lot of glam for my Halloween DIY and decor. How about you? Do you like things scary and gory, or are you like me and enjoy keeping things a little lighter?

(Some links below are affiliate links. When you purchase an item via these links, I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.)

This month, I made some fun Halloween themed DIYs with some of my favourite dollar store items and my Cricut Explore Air 2.

Watch my YouTube video to learn how to make these DIY Halloween ideas with Cricut, or read more below:

    DIY Spider Towels

Make creepy-crawly Halloween dish towels by cutting spiders onto iron-on with your Cricut and adhering them to Dollar Tree black & white plaid towels. You can find the Cricut Design Space spider image I used for these right here.

    DIY Trick or Treat Mugs

Make adorable trick or treat mugs using orange vintage style mugs from Dollarama and cutting the designs with your Cricut onto black vinyl. You can find the Cricut Design Space "trick or treat" image I used for these right here.

    DIY Spider Web Candle

How about a spooky candle? This one was made with a Dollar Tree candle and spider webs cut from black vinyl.  You can find the Cricut Design Space spider web image I used for these right here.

As a final Halloween craft that didn't involve my Cricut, I took a Dollar Tree towel, placed it over a dollar tree mirror, and then sprayed them with matte black spray paint to create a spooky glam mirror for my Halloween display. I loved the effect!

    Have fun crafting!
