How to make a DIY Fall centerpiece with a dough bowl and faux pumpkins & leaves

    For this DIY, you'll need:

    • a wooden dough bowl (I found mine at a local decor store called Modern Farmhouse)
    • floral foam
    • moss (I found mine at Dollar Tree)
    • small faux pumpkins (mine are from Walmart)
    • faux fall leaves
    • pinecones
    • toothpicks / small wooden dowels

To begin, line a narrow wooden dough bowl with floral foam. You can cut the foam to size.

Next, cover the foam with moss.

Insert some toothpicks or small wooden dowels into the bottom of a small faux pumpkin and insert it into the foam. Continue inserting pumpkins randomly all over the dough bowl.

Now, insert some faux Fall leave stems into the floral foam. You can cut the stems into smaller sections to spread the leaves throughout the centerpiece.

Finally, place more moss and pinecones in any bare spots in the centerpiece. You can use a different variety of moss for more interest.

Now, wasn't that easy?! You're all done!

I placed my dough bowl centerpiece on our breakfast nook table and added some other simple Fall themed elements in soft whites and greens.

I love these little Baby Jack white pumpkins on the layered green and white plates!
