My Favourite IKEA Christmas Finds this Season

VINTERFINT Wall Decoration

This Christmas tree-shaped wall display is a versatile piece that’s perfect for small spaces. It’s meant to be a Christmas card display for your wall, but I’ve used it as an advent calendar and decorated it with IKEA’s baubles for a wall decoration. I used Dollarama garland to drape around the display, but you could also use IKEA’s lit evergreen garland.

EVALI Boucle Throw Blanket

If you’re looking for an affordable throw blanket this winter, the EVALI is a budget friendly and beautiful choice! I love the trendy boucle texture and the fringed ends. It’s a beautiful layering piece for your Holiday living room decor.

VINTERFINT String & Gift Wrap

I always love IKEA’s gift wrap selection, and this year is no exception. Their kraft paper and green toned gift wrap will add a natural, vintage feel to your Christmas decor this year, and I especially love their gold & white string. This wrapping paper is easy to recycle after use, and I’m loving all the patterns this year!

You can see some of the gifts I wrapped last year with IKEA’s gorgeous wrapping paper right here.

VINTERFINT Christmas Tree Skirt

You can’t go wrong with a textured rattan Christmas tree collar, and IKEA has one this year that seems well made and it’s budget friendly. I’m using it underneath our living room Christmas tree this year, and I love the natural feeling it adds to the tree. It’s a classic that I’m sure I’ll use year after year!

VINTERFINT Artificial Plant with Pot

IKEA has had these little faux cedar plants for a couple of years now, and I think they make beautiful tabletop decor. You can use them on individual place settings, or consider creating a simple centerpiece like I did here. Use a dough bowl or cutting board as the base, add some dollar store moss, and then place the little trees inside.

Green & Off White VINTERFINT Mugs & Bowls

My favourite, best IKEA Christmas find this year are IKEA’s new VINTERFINT mugs and bowls. I love the creamy white colour with the green rim. They have a simple, vintage vibe and would be a classic tableware item to use for years to come. I’m styling the bowls and mugs with simple white textured dinnerware and natural coloured linen napkins for our Christmas table.

I think the mugs could also make beautiful gifts. Here, I’ve cut a reindeer shaped decal onto green vinyl with my Cricut and applied it to one of the VINTERFINT mugs. Inside the mug, I’ve added some hot chocolate, sprinkles and cinnamon sticks. Then, I tied a velvet ribbon around the mug’s handle as a finishing touch.

VINTERFINT Unscented Candles

Finally, IKEA’s VINTERFINT unscented candles are a staple that you’ll use all season long. They’re the best price I’ve seen for a pack of 8 white tapered candles, they burn well, and they’re a classic addition to your Christmas and winter decor this year. I picked up a couple packs to last us the whole season!

I hope you enjoyed my best IKEA Christmas finds for 2023. Let me know in the comments below which of these items is your favourite, or if I’ve missed anything that you love this year. Happy decorating!
